STOP Group Formed

In an exclusive interview with OceanPinesForum.com, Marty Clarke announced the formation of a group dedicated to convincing Ocean Pines residents to vote NO on the Town Center referendum.

STOP, or Stop Taxing Ocean Pines, is not yet ready to reveal the full details of its campaign to reach the voters of Ocean Pines, according to Clarke, the spokesman for the group. "We only have a short period of time to formulate our approach," he said.

However, Clarke did say the group was collecting donations, and group Treasurer Al Bogdon (263 Windjammer Road 208-6963) welcomes contributions from anyone wishing to join or assist STOP in defeating the Town Center referendum.

Clarke added, "STOP is in response to the OPA Board's unbridled spending."
