Written Board policy says: 1) Without specific approval of the board, board members will not represent the board or the association, or allege to state the opinion of the board. Board members are free to discuss issues with anyone and to express their personal views in any forum, including with the press. In doing so members of the board shall be careful to disclose and represent that the opinions they express and promises they make are their own and not those of the board or association.
