Description: This is a copy of the letter from ARC to Linda Dowie and Michael Piekarski. The letter was provided by a Mr. Loewer during public comments at an OPA meeting. Mr. Loewer a surveyor and a lot owner in Ocean Pines appeared before the board to complain about the Archectural Review Committee (ARC). Mr. Loewer said he wasn't going to tell "war stories" of his experiences with ARC inspectors, but did hold up this letter as his example of ARC problems. He said, "I would be embarassed to send this letter. It reflects on the board. ... If this is the form going out Mr Nelson (ARC Chief Inspector) needs to be talked to. The letter contains 2 mistakes: Date did not wrap properly at top The word "imitated" should have been "inititated." Errors? Yes.
