Description: This past weekend, the MD/Southern Delaware Optimist -District 33 held the finals of their 2107 Oratorical Competition. These contestants had won their local club competition, advanced thru the zone challenge, to compete to represent the region. Ultimately, Mr. Kayden Boecker, representing the OC-Berlin Club was the overall winner. In addition to a scholarship, Kayden will represent the Maryland/Southern Delaware District at the Optimist's national competition, to be held in St. Louis, on the weekend of June 17th.
Kayden and all the competitors are shining examples of the optimist goal of "Bringing out the Best in Youth"
