Description: This chart shows the relative efficiency of labor to produce electric power. Despite a huge workforce of almost 400,000 solar workers, that sector produced an insignificant share, less than 1 percent, of the electric power generated in the United States. Together the traditional fuels - natural gas, coal, oil & nuclear -- and hydroelectric produced over 90% of the nations power needs. Link is:
