Description: The year April 22, 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, which originated in 1970. As this illustration shows, there's been failures of all the doomsday predictions made by some of the movement's proponents. Further details are available at Click Here On the other hand, the Clean Water act of 1972, and the Anti-Nuclear-Open-Air-Testing efforts of Greenpeace are among environmental achievements. Some more controversial effects seem associated with over zealous extensions of the Endangered Species Act and of EPA over regulating.
