Description: Volvo around the world racer ABN Amro I in Chesapeake Bay prior to final leg across the Atlantic. Sister ship racer ABN Ambro II lost a crewmember overboard on this final leg who was recovered but later died. The crew member, Hans Horrevoets was washed overboard as the 70' racer crashed through 15 foot seas with 25-30 knot winds. Not a race for the faint of heart. Photo by Marty Clarke
