Description: Here's an image of Jim Mathias singing with On the Edge for the final OP White Horse Park Concert Series. Jim said, "Smitty opened the show with a heartfelt moving rendition of our National Anthem in honor of those fallen and injured troops that day during the horrific terrorist attack at the Kabul Airport. The audience immediately stood, uncovered, saluted, solemnly sang, prayed, and gave thanks and honor to our Troops for their service, sacrifice, inspiration to those in active and combat duty now and generations to come. I was given the privilege to come up and pay solemn tribute to our troops, veterans, public safety, all that protect our freedom, democracy, and keep us safe. We then did a 2 Rolling Stone double play to honor their drummer Charlie Watts who passed to eternal life this past Tuesday, Aug.24 after exclusively drumming for the Rolling Stones on every release and tour since 1963. Thanks to Smitty and On The Edge for their tribute to our troops and Charlie Watts."
