Description: Not such a great photo taken at Harrison's Harbor Watch of a boat in the inlet that seemed to be dredging for something and the water washed up and maybe filtered on the low part of the bow. What could they have been dredging? They were going back and forth in basically the same location. Any thoughts to share??
And the answer is -- The 150 ft. (45.7m) long "Currituck" was designed and built by Ellicott International of Baltimore, MD back in 1974. Twenty-three years later, the dredge still works reliably. Shown dredging sand from the OC Inlet.
