Description: Bill Rakow, Committee chairman for the Veterans Memorial Bricks and Pavers, is pleased to announce that over 450 bricks and pavers have arrived and have been installed at the site, located at the South Gate Pond of Ocean Pines. These bricks are ones that were ordered prior to July 17 of this year. Those that have ordered them, are welcome to visit the Memorial at any time and find the brick or paver of their loved one. Another delivery is expected to be made prior to Veteran's Day, November 11. It is never too late to order a brick or paver to honor a veteran. Those honored do not have to be a Worcester County resident. They may be former American serviceman or on current active duty. We have veterans honored from the Revolutionary War to present day Iraq. Order forms are available at the Memorial, or at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage at the South Gate of Ocean Pines.
