Description: Image of new Gazebo under construction at the site of the Ocean Pines Veterans Memorial. A joint project of the Worcester County Veterans Memorial at Ocean Pines and the Ocean Pines Asocial, th gazebo will be used as an outdoors classroom for fifth graders from county schools, educating them about the various wars fought by America’s military and the veterans who fought and died in those wars to protest our freedoms.
A special thanks to the Ocean Pines Board of Directors who approved the project funding, and all association members whose assessment dollars actually funded the dollars.
This new gazebo is a great addition to our lovely community of Ocean Pines.
Dedication ceremony will take place on Veterans Day, November 11, 2024.
