Description: 95 kids showed up at the Ocean Pines Anglers Club 2009 Teach A Kid To Fish event to learn some basics of the sport. 36 of these were girls so diversity is evident when it comes to fishing. About 25 Anglers Club members were on hand to demonstrate everything from fish handling to casting and lure selection. Free bait was available so the kids could try their new found skills at the South Pond. Thanks also go to the Ocean City/Berlin Optimist Club for supporting the Anglers Club in this annual event by providing prizes and beverages.
