Description: 23 Anglers from the Atlantic Coast chapter of MSSA and the Ocean Pines Anglers Club participated in their annual Flounder Frenzy Tournament held in the local bays around Ocean City. Tournament Director Budd Heim said that over 60 flounder were caught in the 2 day tournament. The hot spots seemed to be the Rt 90 and 50 bridges. Joe Costello took 1st place with a 23 incher closely followed by Larry Eberly at 22 1/2 inches and Budd Heim in third place with a 20 1/2" fish. The tournament finished up at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club bar where the anglers talked about the ones that got away. photo L to R Budd Heim 3rd place 20 1/2" , Larry Eberly 2nd place 22 1/2", Joe Costello 1st place 23".
