Is it possible to work a deal such that the OPVFD builds a new consolidated fire station (combine the North and South Stations) on the rte. 589 parcel OPA owns and OPA acquires the South Station and converts it to whatever - a hall, gym, etc.? This - along with rehabing the current CH - might give OPA enough space to meet its needs in the foreseeable future. I always appreciate thinking outside the box and your idea is interesting. My concern would be that if slots are eventually approved the value of that property could be substantially increased. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Marty Since then Mr. Englishman has taken up the gauntlet. He has investigated privately owned land on 589 as well as the Ocean Pines parcel which was to be auctioned last year.
