If that is the case and Ocean Pines needs it for the safety of our citizens then it is understandable. Do you believe OP needs two staffed ambulance locations? Two staffed fire houses? Anyway, all this is rather meaningless discussion as the fire department will be given whatever they request. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It appears the goal, at some point, is to have a staffed northside station including a staffed EMS service. In essence the community of Ocean Pines will have two fully functioning and always staffed fire houses and EMS services. Does OPA need two of each? Who knows. If that is the case and Ocean Pines needs it for the safety of our citizens then it is understandable. However, if it is just to build a storage unit for bigger trucks then I can't understand why. |
