Bill: "Don't know what county you are in" Worcester County, Maryland. If your tax bill for Ocean Pines increased more then 7% in the last five years you might want to call the County Treasurer and find out who discovered the oil on your property. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Our taxes are up less then 7% and our property values are down 35% in the same time frame. Marty, Don't know what county you are in but my taxes from 2002 were twice as much in 2010. I did protest the taxes and won . I agree that the property values are down a minimum of 35% or more. In my opinion , I think the assessments in OP are in line and I am fine with the ample reserves. Of course you are entitled to yours. Cordially Bill |
