For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here's an update: It may be that the county did not wish to notify people immediately since they wanted to do some prep at shelters and other stuff before making the announcement public. Typically these alerts are set to be released at a certain time. Either things were slow at the county end or the National Weather service released early. |
