Talk about a good read.
Have you ever read any of Tom Hortons books? Very good reads. I have a lot of books on Eastern Shore history due to my early family being from Smith Island and Onancock,Va. If you are ever interested in looking through them just let me know. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Talk about a good read. Have you ever read "Beautiful Swimmers" by William W. Warner? This book takes me back to growing up. So much knowledge; way beyond my ken. When Ocean City was nothing but sand and pine trees. My Dad's family was from Tilghman's Island. This book brings me back to the good life. Enough of that: When does the Yacht Club start selling gas? Back to watching the "O's". What about them OOOOOO's! :) Smiles |
