You are not even close. When Joe was let go by our general manager, Bob Thompson, the audited statement showed a bottom line operational loss of less then $11,000.00. That is 17 times better then the un-audited -$191,000.00 we are showing this year.
Give it a break. Any reasonable arguments you present are diminished by harping on the Olson $11,000 loss number. It was a one time event. Besides, when you and Rakow were the primary force in firing Olson, he had just produced that $11,000 you now say is the benchmark. Olson did such a good job with the YC that year the board fired him, with you and Rakow leading the charge. I'm not saying firing Olson was right or wrong, just that if you hadn't fired Olson then maybe we would still be seeing those very low losses. Talk about wanting one's cake and eating it too. From a personal perspective, I don't think the Yacht Club has had good management for at least 10 years, from Ferguson/Ruppert through Olson/Rinehart, through Thompson/Rinehart, through Thompson/David ?. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: "The YC continues to lose more or less the same amount of money" You are not even close.
