For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I understand the need to replace lines, run the various treatment and pumping facilities, pay the help etc. etc. but if I don't use the water why should I pay for it? That's Joe's point. You don't pay for any water you don't use. He is saying that the $133 and $54, is only for infrastructure maintenance, processing and treatment. Any water you use would be billed in addition to the $133 and $54 per quarter. While I understand the cost is determined by Worcester County, it is very high compared to other places that we have owned a home. Quarterly minimum cost for infrastructure maintenance etc. at our Florida home is $45 dollars...significantly less than the $187 here in OP. That is what we pay if we use no water. |
