Sure, that is easy. I am not aware of any effort what so ever to lease out the golf operation prior to the recent efforts by COPE.
Thanks, for your answer Marty, once again the BOD of OP has done a disservice to all of its homeowners. Thank God they don't get paid for their service, it would be another Washington DC. Only positive thing I can say is my house is on the market to be sold, and I can't wait till it happens! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Brian: "Could you tell me and the rest of the homeowners, what the board has done to try and find someone to lease the course?" Sure, that is easy. I am not aware of any effort what so ever to lease out the golf operation prior to the recent efforts by COPE. "Correct me if I am wrong" You are correct, only our Beach parking amenity, the Beach Club, and our Marina operations show a bottom line profit in our most recent audited statement. However, when you look at the bottom line of all of our amenities together, performance was a terrible -$1,121,720.00. The lion share of this dismal performance was our golf amenity which posted a loss of -$536,901.00 in operations plus an additional $420,392.00 in depreciation for a total negative in the amount of $957,293.00. There is absolutely no excuse. We do not even pay rent or taxes. Marty |
