For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Frank: "a referendum would lead to the unfortunate demise of the Robert Trent Jones golf course" I think you are 100% right. What would you suggest we do about it? As a member of the Ocean Pines Golf Club would you care if we leased it out to a first class operator? "has anyone tried contacting the past members that have fallin away to find out why" Every chance I get. Just last night I ran into a resident of Ocean Pines who plays golf at Ocean City Golf and Yacht Club. When I asked him why his answer was much the same as I hear over and over. He did not feel welcome by the current membership at Ocean Pines. I have actually heard you say the exact same thing. He and his wife are now very happy as members at OCG&YC and have no reason to consider joining Ocean Pines. Marty |
