For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The assessment dept bases its values on market data, which is comparable sales. So, would you sell your home for the assessed value? Many people probably would not. The assessment is much too generic in nature to be applied to any specific home for actual market value. However, anyone is certainly free to do so. |
