The GM indicated that he needs clarification from the Board as to what latitude the Compliance staff can operate under.
My understanding is that that clarification will be decided upon at a future meeting/working session of the Board. So the "fat lady has yet to sing !!" |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ed, It's always interesting when the lawyers weigh in with their opinion. So, exactly what can the OPA Compliance staff do with regard to entering properties and looking under car covers? The key determinant is whether the vehicle is in a satisfactory operating condition. Did the lawyer provide any guidance on the process that's to be used to determine what is a satisfactory operating condition? I hope you get this issue resolved. We had such a situation next door to us for almost three years. It was resolved when the occupants moved. |
