Gene,
That was so exciting that I fear for MY cardiac outcome. Should I be found under a sheet as a result of an excitement-induced cardiac event, the CPI has my pre-approval to lift the sheet to determine removal options. Signed: An OP OP (Old Person) |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe I have decided to join the GM in his excitement. I find it very exciting to be excited about all the GM's excitement. Ocean Pines is blessed to have many senior citizens residing here. However, I am concerned that if the level of excitement in OP continues to rise the consequences could be a rash of cardiac problems among the residents who may, in turn, hold OPA liable for their cardiac problems. OPA would then probably establish a duplicate CPI group (Cardiac Problems Inspections) to investigate its liability, if any, with OP excitement-related cardiac problems. If excitement-related cardiac problem residents are bed-ridden or very recently deceased, appropriately precise resolutions would undoubtedly have been previously developed to guide OPA inspectors as to whether or not they can look under any covers covering the resident to determine if the resident should be removed per OPA policies. Difficult or long-term unresolved situations (such as one or more covered residents visible from the street) would be referred to Joe Moore by the GM for counsel's written interpretation of what should be done in accordance with OPA's governing documents and related case law which would then be referred to the BoD who, in turn, would refer it back to the GM who, in turn, would submit it to the inspector who could not initially resolve the situation to resolve the situation if, in fact, it is resolvable. I believe that if these excitement-induced cardiac situations are handled by OPA as professionally and efficiently as are its other missions, then Ocean Pines will truly be an even more exciting place in which to live (or possibly die as the case may be) which may or may not be a heart-healthy outcome.
