Should not officially approved burial rights on OPA property be a matter of policy and thus an issue for the board and not the GM.
Given the stir on this issue perhaps. Why don't you formally ask the board to address this issue. Me, I'm OK with burying the goose. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I see nothing wrong with the GM, when asked by OP residents if they could bury a beloved dead goose on OP property granting such a request. Interesting, and thanks for at least offering an opinion. Some seem afraid to do so. How can we determine, for future reference, which of the geese around the pond are beloved or not. Does this involve calls expressing belovedness from 10 people, 100 people, or what? Should only beloved geese receive burial rights? Why should one goose have any more burial rights than any other goose? Are all geese eligible or just those hit-and-run on the roads? Should not officially approved burial rights on OPA property be a matter of policy and thus an issue for the board and not the GM? What about other beloved animals? |
