Your comments in three replies to me glosses over the facts. LU hasn't been a ball of fire since taking over for BCG back in the beginning if May, however, why did it take the Board liaison until the beginning of December to contact LU concerning their plan of action.
Facts? To my knowledge there is currently no board liaison to golf or to LU, so I'm not sure what you are talking about in that regard. Facts? As Marty just reported, LU is doing better than Casper when it comes to the bottom line. The golf situation is solvable, its not rocket science. Its knowing how and when to take good advise. So, Casper needs advice. Landscapes Unlimited needs advice. The board needs advice. Where is that advice to come from? A few golfers? You? I think OP would be better served if you ridiculed the Boards and the golf management rather than an individual who has possibly brought in more revenue for the golf operation than the above mentioned whose responsibility it is. What individual have I ridiculed? For the past two months, I have been playing golf at near by courses for $25 for 18 holes. OP is more for me and other property owners in OP. Talk about ridiculous. Yes. When OPA association members see $10 million of their assessment dollars dumped into the golf course to improve it for golfers, and those who play golf go elsewhere to save a few dollars per round, that is ridiculous. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Well Joe, three responses to a single submission by me. I will admit I've only owned property in OP for 11 years. However, I have taken the time to question property owners whose experience goes back many more years. Your comments in three replies to me glosses over the facts. LU hasn't been a ball of fire since taking over for BCG back in the beginning if May, however, why did it take the Board liaison until the beginning of December to contact LU concerning their plan of action. I my you can't make this stuff up opinion, this should have taken place back in June or July. The Board liaison could have had a transcript of Mr. Manning's statements made to the Board during his presentation and simply held LU to time lines for their statements made on digital CD's. If you will remember back about 6 or 7 years the OP Board paid a rather large some of money the a golf advisory group and then totally ignored all of the suggestions they made. Presently near by golf courses charge less than OP golf charge its golf property owners. How about them apples. Here is a question for you, is it better to charge $25 and have 10 players or might it be better to charge $20 and have 50 players. This is not a supposition, its a fact. Even members of the Board play else where due to some of the idiotic situation concerning OP golf. For the past two months, I have been playing golf at near by courses for $25 for 18 holes. OP is more for me and other property owners in OP. Talk about ridiculous. The golf situation is solvable, its not rocket science. Its knowing how and when to take good advise.
