Section 5: OPA Board Subject: It Was Embarrassing Msg# 937109

"He acts like a guilty man being questioned under oath who is afraid to perjure himself." I couldn't agree more. I think he's been caught in lies on more than one occasion so he is trying to remember what he said the last time when being questioned again on the same subject.
I often say that I try always to tell the truth. Not only because of my moral convictions, it's just easier to remember the facts than the fable. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: What an instuctive video! I was hopeful of seeing an imitation of Metternich and Tallyrand at the Congress of Vienna but wound up instead with an episode of Fibber McGee and Molly featuring the Great Guildersleeve as guest star. Cordwell, I observed, has one thing in common with Thomas Jefferson: the inability to speak coherently in public. There the resemblance ends. Is it just me, or is the GM obviously dissembling in his rather circuitous answers to very simple questions? He acts like a guilty man being questioned under oath who is afraid to perjure himself. And what is he doing instructing the BOD, who he obviously considers his intellectual inferiors, to make a motion and vote on something? |
