I couldn't agree with you more when you say "I just want to have fun". It wasn't LU that made the decision concerning the 19th Holers, it was the golf manager. When I read all the crap about closing the golf course due to financial losses, I get upset and angry because in my estimation and many others in OP land, the golf operation is poorly run and has been for some time. As a property owner in OP, I am asked to pay more to play 18 holers than at the other courses in the area. I played 18 holes at River Run today for $25. Monday I'm going to play Eagles Landing for $25, OP would have cost me $35. This is the reason so many golfers in OP refuse to play here. I love the course but most of my friends here don't want to play for this reason and some of the other reasons I cited previously. I was ready to join again this year when some friends said , "who are you going to play with"?

The reason I know the course is nearly deserted on Wednesday afternoons between 1 and 2 PM is that I live in the middle of the ninth fairway and can see how busy the course is!
