I cannot recall any golf advisory committee going back to 2007.
Your memory is ok back to 2007, as that is about when the Golf Governors ended their reign as the Golf Advisory Committee for OPA. Dave Stevens wanted to add some non-golf governors and create an actual Golf Advisory Committee to replace the de facto committee of the Golf Governors. I don't recall when the board formally eliminated any golf advisory committee but it may have been around the arrival of Casper. I recall Reid Sterrett was liaison to the group when he was on the board. Some video below. It may take some minutes for them to start playing.
