| If you would do your homework on pickleball in the country you would see that temporary courts on existing tennis courts is far short of "premier". City's all over the courty are creating new venues for pickleball that in some cases exceed 100 courts. Platform tennis facilities are actually built on platforms and tennis facilities such as ours are hosts to tournaments and USTA teams that OP has not yet taken the initiative to promote. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thank goodness someone on the board sees the value of a Racquet Sports Complex, one that could easily be a unique and premier venue. We already have a premier Racquet Sports Complex. This proposed complex would not only serve our members and community but would certainly attract active adults to move to OP. OPA has one of the finest tennis court setups on the Eastern Shore. Tennis memberships are falling. |
