For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I believe there are appropriate steps that have to be taken to justify any personnel actions. More pettifoggery. It is apparent to me that the pool of potential BOD candidates based on their posts on this forum is not only narrow it is shallow as well. The other fellow, mercifully I forget his name, seems unable to even make up his mind as to whether to run. He keeps peppering the current BOD with philosophical questions which are more editorials than questions then wonders why he doesn't get a response and others do. He is fond of saying that he needs to learn more, study more, before he is ready to run. Look, this is not Zen Buddism. It is the OPA BOD. We live in an age of cheap sentimentality that almost gags one with its sacherine inability to risk offending anyone. My advice to you, Mr Perrone, if you feel the GM has done nothing to merit firing, is to simply state it unashamedly and run on it. There are many who would agree with you. Your obvious unwillingness to state what you really believe does not serve you well. |
