The county could at least get a complete list together of what needs to be repaired and do it a logical matter. They dug up the side of the road to replace the fitting or what ever it is called for the house next door to me and the one across the street last year when the north parkway was gravel for new sewer line. We asked if they were doing our fitting too. We were told no, our house was built in 2002 and didn't need it. Not on the list and lines not old enough. Sounded ok. Then one day six months later, they came back digging our fitting up. Guess what, some one finally figured out there was a line installed here years ago on a vacant lot. We had it too. Dug up the side of all that new blacktop. Now I am sure you may think I am complaining because they dug up the side of the new black top in front of my house, and yes, it was stupid to redo that again and leave a ugly patch that won't hold. The county can't read the records to do the work in order and keeps the guys they contracted with moving from side to side on the parkway. No real thought or plan to the work. Just dig and replace. Never take advantage of saving time and money going the work logically. Again, It's the county at it's finest. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If it's the county's responsibility, why would they care, just look at how they dig up the edges of the roads. Basically destroying them, over and over. And how would you propose the county repair leaks in 50-year-old water lines installed by Boise Cascade? |
