I am not talking about "talking to employees", I did it all the time when I sat on the board. Hell, some were friends, good friends who I have known personally for 20 plus years. I have in my possession a email from a Department head looking for advise because he was being pressured buy a member of the board to say bad things about me to try and ruin any chance I might have of being elected. The reason was I support the current board and Brett Hill. This does not appear to be a witch hunt. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Marty He is not a gadfly, he is an obstructionist. I respectfully disagree with you. It may not be political however it is the same or similar argument the previous board used towards you. There are many ways the Board can and should handle this. Put a time limit on individual discussions, call for a vote as it only takes four to pass a motion. As to emails I know I have not been recipients of any of his emails nor have I seen many comments on the forum from him. As to talking to employees I strongly believe it is the responsibility of the Board members to talk to both employees and OPA members. How else will one get a pulse of the organization. I also realize a Board member cannot task an employee however I also remember in the past of board members tasking employees. As I said to Ted this is a very slippery slope to go down and an all began with the last board when they tried to remove you. I did not think it was right then and I do not think it is right now.
