An interesting reply. It sounds like you are telling me I should have put some form of warning label on my posts informing readers that my views may have been influenced by actually talking to people with whom I’ve had prior dealings or ties including people who are or were involved in OPA politics and oppose the current board. Should my disclosure also include the fact I’ve talked to people who are very much in support of the current acting GM and board majority. Perhaps I’ll add an admission stating I read newspapers, have actually spoken to or otherwise communicated with current board members and candidates. And the worst sin of all, I should admit to reading the OP Forum. Readers will probably find out anyway but I’ve actually eaten at the OPYC during the past year – had a drink too. OMG! I’ve spent hours analyzing YC financial statement covering the past 10 years and shared the results with others including board members and candidates. Oh no, I actually played the OP golf course a couple of weeks ago. My confession is complete; I beg forgiveness. There, my conscience is clear. Am I forgiven?
