Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Motion to Remove Director Trendic Msg# 991417

I have given this a lot of thought as has many others and we still do not know the status of the motion proposed by Mr. Hill. Is it still on the table or has it been withdrawn? As it does not seem that there will be another Board meeting before the election my question is: If it has not been withdrawn will it be back on the table after the election? (Now I understand one can withdraw a motion and bring it up at a later time but in this case at least INMO would be morally wrong and cowardly).
Why is this important? It is important to me because we have only been focusing on the one candidate that could have an impact on the outcome and that is Dough Parks. However if this goes to the next Board I believe we have a right to know how the potential future Board members stand on this issue particular Dr. Horn and Nicole Schaffer Crosariol. The only candidate that has said he is in favor of the removal is Marty Clarke and I respect him for taking a position. To date unless I am wrong Doug Parks has waffled on his position and the others did not have a dog in the fight until now. So yes I would like to know how they would vote on this important issue before my wife and I cast our ballot. |
