You will find logic, illogic; emotion and obtuseness on this forum on any given day. Sometimes all in one message. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks for your feedback - where do we start? Maybe you missed the point - waterfowl will come to where fresh water is located like our lake, ponds, and canals. That’s just nature. Fun Fact: The East Coast and Mid-Atlantic coastal areas are flyways. Geese will pond and lake hop (when they can fly and aren’t molting). Since Canada Geese all look alike, wouldn’t it be hard to tell if geese on the pond on any given day in any month are the same geese from the day before? Not so Fun Fact: The USDA kills in June and July when the geese are molting and cannot fly. When a gander takes a mate, he will go to her place of birth to raise their young. Again, it’s nature - the government knows they cannot fly in June and July and geese will not leave their babies. Appreciate that you are neutral and are not mean-spirited in your reply. I honestly thought this forum might be educational without realizing that it is more for entertainment value. This could be more fun than I thought! |
