Hi Sharon,
May I ask how long you have lived in Ocean Pines? If you have been here at least 5 or 6 years....I am wondering WHY you did not speak up then and join in to try to solve the problem in a way that you would think is better plan to solve a serious problem. This is an issue that has been discussed at length for many years. Joe can probably direct you to those discussions here on The Forum. Nancy |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Most definately, I will be there. With copies of information. Plus I will see if two of my contacts (experts in geese) might be available to discuss viable alternatives on controlling geese populations without killing them - possibly by tele-conference or maybe in person. Otherwise, I will bring their information to the meeting for contacting at a later date. We must ban together and arm ourselves with information and data on behalf of the geese that are still here and were missed in the roundup plus the geese that will come. And they will come....we have to make preparations NOW to prevent any roundups and killing of our geese from occurring in the future. The Ocean Pines Board has proven they cannot be trusted if the only answer they could come up with was paying the government to kill our geese without any open discussions and then notifying residents after the fact using our money to do it. |
