| I remember several years ago guys that left their boats in over the winter at Pines Point were walking around their boats ON THE ICE breaking it up to try to prevent damage, the ice looked to be at least 6 inches thick. That was the first time I saw the bay frozen, didn't think we got that cold but boy was I wrong. Think spring! | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I’d say Manklin Creek is salt water, at least as salty as the water at the Yacht Club. Freezing water here across the entire bay is not all that unusual. |
