We pay Mediacom $72 per month for 250GB. Once or twice a year, we get an overage charge of $20. Since it's a second home, doesn't seem worth it to upgrade to their next level plan. We cancelled their cable because the service was so poor and now use Roku for streaming. We can also bring in 7-8 broadcast channels with a flat antenna that we put on our front deck. Reception is better in winter when the trees drop their leaves. Another tip for part time OP residents, if you have cable at another home, use that provider's app to access cable channels that have apps. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe. For those moving to streaming, the important limitation is the download megabytes limit per month. I am sure you stream quite a bit, what plan do you have from Mediacom? I have 1000 GB per month and usually use around 600 - 700 Robert. |
