so we 'cut the tv cord' but still need internet, and the cable companies ain't stupid . . . they raise the internet price.  solution: community wide internet, available to everyone as part of our assessments. sure, assessments may go up a little, but it would be a heck of a lot cheaper than individual accounts with a cable company. everything and anything is available on-line, you can subscribe to the networks you want and only the networks you want.

community wide internet is not a new concept (for example Click Here ) it is being done by HOA's and cities. it is at least something that the gm should be tasked to looking into.

as joe points out, cable is ridiculously expensive, and i would add it is ridiculously expensive for a service that sells us a lot of crap that we don't need or want. and as the cable companies lose customers, they charge their existing and new customers more to make up the difference.
