I'm guessing late 50's or early 60's based on the price of the gas and the people pumping it?
Looks like a 57 or 58 Mercury and maybe a 56 or 57 Ford station wagon at the pump. Lowest I can remember gas prices were in the late 50s-early 60s in a gas war [Pennsylvania] and they were 16 cents/gal. I think gas wars are a thing of the past in Maryland as they have some law regulating the relative prices between stations possibly enacted to protect small independents when the big boys were putting in multiple stations. |
