Thanks for update. I was not aware of any recount. I think they were hand counting. I seem to recall the referendum was non-binging anyway, due to county involvement
11 votes separation. The developer probably had 300 votes or more. However, changes nothing relative to how OPA dropped the ball on the contract and the now obviously ridiculous comments from Llinas. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: A referendum was held to decide the entire issue. It passed by around 12 votes. No recount. Information that I have indicates that the referendum was in September 2002. The initial vote count was 2604 "Yes" and 2599 "No". After a Board directed recount, the final vote count was 2611 "Yes" and 2600 "No". Jim Trummel |
