So, you are comfortable that the OPA president made what certainly looks like a false representation to a bank in order to secure a government loan. The end does not justify the means, even to keep assessment lower. As for 40% of revenue, even if correct, OPA applied for 100% of labor for the 8 week period, even though 60% of that is not amenity revenue but labor costs for departments like Public Works where payroll is 100% covered by the assessment. Facts are troubling for those arguing without them. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My understanding is that forty percent of revenue comes from amenities. Having read the CDC guidelines for pool operations and summer camp operations, I doubt seeing any revenue there. Concerts at YC seem unlikely. We might be resting our hope with Golf. I am glad OP obtained the funds and can continue to pay the full time employees. We are going to have additional expenses as well (hand washing stations, PPE, etc. The past 20 years in the Pines have taught me the opinions on the forum are not always the majority opinions. Those who disagree usually just stay quiet and don't bother using this venue. Stay well! |
