I have many friends that have businesses. It looks to me from their experience, a business that uses a small local bank as their banking needs got the money, if you bank with the larger banks they had committees that were approving or rejecting the loans. The smaller banks the president and vice presidents were making the decision, I can not prove this or have a source to verify, just going off my friends experience. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ken, You hit the nail on the head. My son in AA county has a boarding kennel, pet grooming and pet shipping business and was shut down by Gov Hogan. He applied for the PPP loan and was told all the money had gone to larger companys and some nonprofits. He had to lay everyone off. He Applied again and was approved but only got 20% of what he asked for but it was too late because everyone had been laid off. And it was not enough pay his employees anyway. And he only applied for $50,000 and really needed it and not $1,200,000 just in case they might need it. I hope the OP board sleeps well at night because my son can't. George |
