| Mark:I'm not going to jump back into that argument. However, I also felt it was a kind jesture on the part of the BOD to extend the dues due date by 90 days to help those in financial stress due to the pandemic. Today I saw on the other forum people complaining that they couldn't get parking passes until they paid their dues. Just goes to show that doing the right thing can still "BITE YOU IN THE BUTT". | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Everyone seems to be bantering back and forth over whether the decision to apply for and subsequently accept he money was legal or not. For me, as others have already said, it is a moot point. For me it is a question not of legality, but rather of morality. We did not need financial assistance, we still don't, and to seek these funds was unnecessary and (as others also have said) greedy. |
