The article you cite went further stating the UK reduced its CO2 emissions largely by outsourcing its steel and aluminum industries to China and India. A good example of how to damage your economy with job losses in order to feel good at a global level. You outsource to two countries who haven't the slightest inclination to reduce their carbon footprint as they race to catch up to industrialized nations. Brilliant. China and India are still laughing. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: All this talk about carbon footprint to me means very little when China, India, and other countries could care less.
