My work responsibilities required me to make trips to Beijing and to deal with Chinese govt authorities. Let me just say that it was an interesting phase in my career. From your remarks we can agree that our country faces challenging geopolitical landscape. How our leadership choses to address these challenges will have a huge impact on better part of this century. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: No other country would be able to put that kind of pressure on them like the US. Slobodan, Aside from some 'commodity deals' (they need to feed their flocks) what concessions have they made to us? They're preparing to war with India; building islands all over the place out there, and, maybe, planning to invade Taiwan; relenting on fossil fuel consumption seems to be a' bridge to far', as they say. The last truthful statement to come out of their mouths was from Sun Tzu: "Hey, fellas, we can win this thing; I jotted down a few ideas!" Bob |
