For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: FYI - This message was posted on another web site from the owner of Whiskers. Whiskers has closed its doors. I (Tanya) and the team of whiskers, both past and present, want to thank all our friends for supporting the business all these years. It has been an amazing run full of joyous occasions, laughter, heart ache, tears, passion, pain and through all the emotional times always in between these walls was a lot of love for everyone here. This is not a sad or remorseful day, but instead one to celebrate. We have new friends that have come in to give this place the TLC she needs. Whiskers was an idea and concept that worked and made so many people happy. In the last year I realized that whiskers would never truly be whiskers again and embraced a change of name, menu and concept. Whiskers will always be more than the contents of these four walls. Our new friends Brad Mogan, of Salisbury’s Mogan’s Oyster House and Chef Allison Porter of some of Charleston South Carolina’s best restaurants have teamed up to renovate the space and create a new exciting menu that I’m sure will be quite different and I’m looking forward to trying myself! After a few weeks the bar and restaurant will be open again as The Pickled Goose. I made sure my loyal team would have their jobs back as the restaurant opens their doors again and they will look forward to serving you again soon. I’ll post new fb, Instagram and website info soon so you can watch our progress. Thanks again old friends! |
