Colby -
Thank you for your service to our community! You will be missed. I value the times we worked together. You were never more than a phone call away - and you always answered within one ring - when I needed information or assistance on something. Your Can-Do attitude made it possible to accomplish what others sometimes considered not-even-worth trying. There's much you accomplished that many folks may not even realize. You never viewed a task as too small or too large - you just took them on and saw them through. You always demonstrated professionalism and even more importantly, you treated everyone with whom you came in contact with respect, understanding and empathy. Those are admirable skillsets. My very best to you as you begin to write the next pages of your career. Chip |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Good evening all, First I want to thank you all so much for the love and support I have felt my entire 7 years here and especially the last month. This community is absolutely amazing! I have been so honored to be able to work for you all and I pray and hope that my impact on you, was as rewarding as yours has been on me. There was sadness in making the decision to resign, but after situations that occurred the last year, my family and I felt it was best for me to make this choice for my health and continued happiness. I am sooo very proud of the team I got the opportunity to work with on a daily basis. Eddie Wells, Nobie Violante and the public works team are top notch, there is so much heart put into all they do. Kathleen Cook, Michelle Hitchens and the Aquatics team are amazing and will carry on a wonderful pool experience. Terry Underkoffer and Tim McMullin will continue doing awesome things at our Racquet Center. Howard Webb and Steve Grabowski are working so hard on all the IT upgrades and have been a wonderful and welcome addition to the team. I can’t even begin to say enough wonderful things about Josh Davis, his work speaks for itself. Geraldine Tate is our angel behind the doors. Her dedication to this community is decades long. Those are just some of the amazing team but the ones I had the honor to work with daily and will forever call my friends. I am sad to not see the completion of the Bainbridge project (which starts March 3) and I had hoped to help transition all the stuff I had been working on over the next two weeks to the team, but regardless I am so proud of this project and excited for the community to have a big start to helping with the drianage/stormwater issues and water quality improvements. The County Team, also apart of this project, is also such a huge benefit and advocate for the flood and drainage issues. Ryan Presock would be out almost immediately to address homeowner concerns that Eddie or I made him aware of. I also want to thank everyone who is on an OP committee. I was involved in many and the committee volunteers truly contribute so much to the growth and knowledge of this community! Joe, as the longest employee to post on the forum (I think you said that) thank you for this site. Hearing the community on the forum helped me be able to engage in many issues over my time here. Now I just get to comment on areas I know the answer too! With love and gratitude, Colby |
